Schedule 1 classification has three criteria to meet according to the DEA;
1. The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
2. The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical treatment use in the U.S.
3. There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or substance under medical supervision.

5 million die from tobacco products, and 600,000 of those are nonsmokers who die from second hand smoke annually.
Ignorance is in the past, quit allowing alcohol and tobacco to kill people. Place it on DEA's schedule 1 list.
