We the people of these United States hold these truths to be self evident. That we have the right to keep and bear arms and that right shall not be infringed. I am unimpressed and dissapointed with your cookie cutter response to other anti gun control petitions. Real "Assult rifles" are already illegal to own without proper permits. The AR-15 IS NOT AN ASSULT RIFLE. It is a modern sporting rifle used in numerous shooting sports all through out the nation. Banning them WILL DO NOTHING to solve the issue of violence that is caused by mentally ill PEOPLE.
