This can take a year or more to finish. The USCIS has been looking at a I-601 Provisional Waiver but it is not in effect (Started in 5/3/12), the wait for this is destroying family's by sending one of the members back to Mexico while the other is waiting for the slow gears of political bureaucracy to move to reunite the family members.
