Billionaire investor Warren Buffett recently requested the Obama administration raise taxes on the the wealthiest citizens of our nation in order to shrink the deficit.
Since the turn of the century ultra-rich Americans have benefitted from tax rates far below the norm for their income level, and this has resulted in a shrinking middle class, stagnant wages for lower-income workers, and economic hardship for a majority of Americans who are "just trying to make ends meet" these days.
