Lobby Congress To Amend the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005

Created by I.C. on December 27, 2012

We propose the Obama administration champion reform that would liberate the American people form the clutches of for-profit educational institution and no risk gambling of private banks in our nations educational systems . Effectively, we ask that the private loans given to students for the use of higher learning be made indistinguishable form other unsecured debt and thus be eligible for discharge under bankruptcy.
Eliminating monopolies held by both predatory private lenders and for-profit educational institutions would insure that higher education be about the student not the money. Americans will no longer be seen as a temporary cash cows left to deal with private lenders who do not offer assistance for repayment and for-profit institutions who only see them as a statistical bottom
