I propose that we ban ALL lobbyists’ access to politicians, including political contributions.
Where is the conflict of interest in all of this? You or I would go to jail for bribery if we did such things to get special favors from a judge or police officer. Why is it different if you contribute to a political reelection fund?
OUR Government doesn't need them to make policy or to do what’s in the best interest of our citizens. If they have questions that need input from corporations, then an open public forum should be held. The time for misinformation and innuendo is over.
Does anyone honestly believe that corporations spend BILLIONS each year on lobbying because the care about you and you children’s safety or well-being? Absolutely NOT, they care about profits.
Time for change
