When significant votes take place at the federal level (i.e.; raising of the debt ceiling, "fiscal cliff", etc.), order that Congress be locked inside the capitol building, 24/7, until they are able to come up with a solution. Those doors have locks, right? No bathroom breaks; no sleeping. If necessary, blast music at them like the U.S. military did in 1989 to get Manuel Noriega to surrender following the invasion of Panama.
The American people are fed up with this utterly dysfunctional Congress. It is time for drastic measures; fight crazy with crazy. Congress is currently the greatest threat to our economic security and prosperity, and that needs to change.
