Lock Down Our Schools.

Administrators in our school districts insist that our schools are safe. Obviously, they're not. Our schools need to make a major change on how they allow outside visitors to enter our schools. Schools need to be locked down as soon as our children are let in (going through metal detectors prior to entry). During the day, an entrance area needs to be designated for persons entering, only being allowed entry after submitting proper ID to a security guard, ran through a database to be sure the person has a reason to be in the school. Then they should pass through a metal detector prior to being allowed into the schools. Guns aren't going away anytime soon, and this is the only way to guarantee the safety of our students.
