Look into Airship technology for cleaner cargo and passenger transportation.

Created by M.G. on August 09, 2013

Airship technology has improved in leaps and bounds since the oft-cited Hindenburg Disaster. However, unlike the clunky, unsafe, rigid airships of yesteryear, the modern airship would be filled with inert helium, a much safer alternative to the volatile hydrogen. Cargo can be transported with very little fuel cost, as Airships float; making it far more fuel efficient then a jet or cargo plane. Passengers aboard a passenger style airship could float in comfortable luxury in the clouds. But, what can the White House do to make this idyllic scene possible? By offering subsidies to airship manufacturers to produce airships and airship parts in the United States and provide grants for those who wish to learn to fly airships for commercial, private and public use.
