REOPEN THE CLOSED CASE OF THE DROWNING OF JASON SMITH which was closed by the Louisiana Wildlife Fisheries and Dr. Frank J. Perretti medical examiner on June 25, 2011 who declared Jason Smith's death as an accidental drowning.

On June 6, 2011 14 year old Jason Smith was found in a private pond in Eros, Louisiana. He was with two white teens ages 13 and 17 both gave conflicting stories on the events that took place. The 17 year old states he was with the victim from 8am- 2pm that day. Neither teen informed their parents that Jason was in the water until after 7pm which 911 was called. Jason was not pulled out the water until after 8pm. Jason was afraid of water and could not swim.
