AT&T and Verizon Wireless have a combined control of approximately 70 percent of the cellular market. Smaller cellular companies are at a huge disadvantage and have no possible way to compete. Consumers are forced to choose between only 4 companies, 2 of which control about 70 percent of the market. Consumers are continually forced to pay fees that these companies impose because of lack of competition. Negotiation of your plan is out of the question.
