Look into changing the Non-Custodial Parent and Child Support Guidelines for active parents.

Created by A.G. on February 26, 2013

Change the laws and guidelines for which non-custodial parents are to pay child support mainly in the state of California. I think the custodial parent or parent receiving child support should have stricter guidelines to follow. It's my opinion that child support should be lowered. The courts should look more into the living conditions of the custodial parent and not just take the mother's word or side. The current system is failing our kids and the mothers aren't letting the children be apart of their father's lives. Due to the military, my husband is on opposite coast as his kids and that has put a strain on their relationship. He has always done right by his kids but yet the mother still has custody even after abandoning them for two years. Not all fathers are deadbeats.
