The purpose of food stamps is to help those who cannot afford to feed their families. If people who receive food stamps can afford to use them to buy gum, pre- made ice, or pez dispensers while those who make too much money to qualify to receive food stamps must struggle with every trip to the grocery store, then something is wrong with our current system.
