This petition addresses the issue of companies stating lack of skilles labor in the US. I see job listings with positions clearly demonstration an opportunity for training skilled workers that possess transferable skills.
Companies no longer view training as an opportunity to change the community through growth and development. The tout their ability to create jobs but are not willing to invest in personnel.
What greater locality is there in an employee that gained access to the possibility to learn new skills in a company that is committed to this investment.
