Look into the construction of the F-35 combat Aircraft to further reduce the spending on such military equipment.

It seems as though the construction of high powered and sophisticated aircraft has been a failure. Due to the understatement of benefit costs at the beginning of the projects. Most contracts are low budgeted at first and later on require more capital to be completed. The problem is that once approved it is difficult to cut the project short. Therefore the government keeps guzzling tax payer dollars into projects that are mismanaged and lack effectiveness. There are few checks and balances that are implemented into the process of using money that could be used elsewhere. Those who do not know or misinterpret history, are dammed to repeat it.
