The Department of Labor, Veterans' Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) is responsible for doing investigations when a veteran believes he/she has been discriminated against during the federal hiring process. This is a responsibility under law (5 USC 3330a).
Several investigators have failed to do actual investigations on the cases they were assigned. In addition the Secretary of Labor, and the Inspector General at DOL, have refused to do anything about these failures.
Our nation's veterans deserve better than this.
