Year after year national retail stores have been opening their doors earlier and earlier on the day after Thanksgiving(Black Friday). At the time of the writing of this petition several stores are opening on Thanksgiving day itself. This is destroying a very family centered and American holiday. If it does not stop soon this day will be lost as a holiday. Black Friday should be returned as THE shopping day. Stores should not be allowed to open till morning.
