The Emergency Manager laws preformed in Michigan looks to put State Appointed officials not the Elected officials of Detroit. This in my view is not democratic. I believe the Elected officials should be able to so of their choosing since they are the elected body. The oversight is a Corporistic take over of a City. The First of its kind in America. I believe motive is to have state control of Detroit Water System. Which is a valuable resourse. These issues need to be look into.
