Look into the Energy Monopoly of Lubbock, Texas

Over the past year Lubbock, Texas Lubbock Power and Light has been buying out energy companies in near by towns and creating a monopoly around it's city and inner city. Folks can hardly do with the rising energy cost they have set forth and the hard working people can hardly catch a break. Just today they are also proposing to raise the gas rates which will put more people below the poverty line having to fork over even more so can live a comfortable life with overpayment of utilities. Please join me in signing this petition so we may get the government to look into this unfair practice where many folks are left in the cold paying outrages and unfair rates for their utilities while city officials get raises and better luxuries.
