Google has systematicly deprived users of thier most used contacts by useing Google+ to block them, and forcing nongoogle+ users to sign up for Google+ (a service they don't want) in order to un block thier loved ones this is blackmail. You can only see that they have been blocked via Google+...which is ridiculous If you don't even have a Google+ account.
Google is useing underhanded tactics. Thier motto for Google+ really says it all
"Join now and connect with the people who matter most"
Because Google wont let you connect with them unless you join.
