Look Into how the American working public are treated at companies and why companies ignore federal labor laws.

Created by R.B. on May 12, 2013

Terminated from a company after working nearly twelve years there. I was hired originally as technical support for their internet customers. My position changed to a sales job, couldn't meet sales quota in a poor economy. Company terminated me and many others for same reason and didn't give any of us a severance package. Contacted Department of Labor and they didn't do not one thing except to say, "hire an attorney". I was able to get employment insurance without any penalties because I was terminated through no fault of my own.

The company used job performance to get around not giving any of us a severance package. So change the job, offer no options, then fire those who can't perform in new role. I would like to petition the Government to give DOL more teeth in their laws governing EBSA
