Look at Senator John Corynyn's Senate bill S.978 as it seeks to undermine innovation and attempts to control the web.

Created by W.N. on October 27, 2011

Senate bill co-or otherwise seeks to prevent, jail and fine internet users for simply sharing videos on the internet. This bill, (S.978) seeks to stop innovation of the internet and issues content restrictions which will drive many popular websites off the internet and agitate an already struggling economy, therefor sending technology back in time. Jailing and fining people for what we do everyday is not what we need. The bill is ridiculous. Senator Cornyn (R.) of Texas is one of the architects of this piece of work. You can congratulate him on his website, and he is another republican senator who seems to be catering to a few select companies at the expense of the many.
