We feel that too many times media and persons in power try to solely blame "violent video games". Without acknowledging the amount of violence that kids are bombarded with in news, tv shows, movies, music, etc that desensitizes them to violence. We can not simply single out a single thing and go in with pitchforks to demand mob justice. We urge the government to step back and not single any one thing out but look at the effects of all of these as a whole, as well as take into account psychological studies that have been done showing that allowing a vent for violence keeps thought from becoming action.
