look into the way prior military veterans have not been able to get medical attention for dental problems.

The VA has a fantastic medical program for veterans, but it does not address one key issue in the circle of medical service. That issue is dental care. Unless a recently discharged veteran checks into the VA system and can sign up for dental care for up to two years after his discharge, that veteran has no dental coverage at all. The only way the veteran can get dental care beyond the first two years is to show that a dental problem occurred in the service or was aggravated beyond the normal progression of the specific disability or the veteran is 100% service connected. That means only a minute minority of veterans get any dental care during their lifetime. All other medical care you can get through the VA medical system, but dental services are not. The time has come to solve this NOW!!!
