Loosen restrictions on unlicensed radio broadcasting and change part 15 rules on the AM radio dial for unlicensed use.

Created by J.B. on June 10, 2013

Over the past 20-30 years, the quality of licensed radio has been on a downward spiral. Small stations that were in touch with the communities they were designed to serve have been bought out by giant conglomerates who only care about money and not the community. Recently, groups of people in towns all across America have started small revolutions in broadcasting using part 15 AM transmitters, but 100mW is too low to reach the community. I think we need a change to the Part 15 rules on AM and a power increase to 25 watts for part 15 devices on AM as long as they don't interfere with licensed stations.
