Love bees. Pesticides cause colony collapse. Life dependent on bee population. EU and China already banning chemical use

Created by L.M. on April 20, 2015

Bees are an indicator species. They are dying. The BLAME debate is over. Research done at Penn State and by other respected organizations like the ARS have proven pesticides meant to kill crop damaging insects weaken the immune systems of bees, disrupt bee genetics, and make them more susceptible to predation, toxins and pathogens. The same is happening to humans. Ecologically, economically, and ethically, we cannot continue to use chemical pesticides. The European Union has already phased out 22 chemical pesticides now known culprits of colony collapse. Even China has banned some of the pesticides known to harm man and bee. The US lags far behind the rest of the world when it comes to protecting us, the bees, or the future of this planet. Stop using toxic chemicals on our food supply.
