Homosexual marriage is a huge issue. While some states have legalized it, some have also banned it. There has been a rise in homosexual couples standing up for their rights to become legal spouses, but alas, some people decide to take away a certain right: a pursuit of happiness for people who love the same gender. Marriage shouldn't be defined as being "between a man and a woman", love is love. People also refer to the Bible, stating that it says marriage is between a man and a woman. But, the Bible also says to love thy neighbor, and it doesn't seem like a lot of people do that nowadays. Religion shouldn't define love or marriage! Equal rights need to be enacted! The Equal Rights Act was almost passed last year, so let's make it happen this year!
