We would like to ask the United States government to lower the national minimum legal drinking age to 18 years old. According to the State University of New York, America is one of only seven countries with a minimum drinking age of 21 and of only twelve over the age of 18 (Hanson, OL). Let us join the rest of the world and lower the age.
