As we all know, the legal adult age is eighteen years. However, people are saddled with many responsibilities (e.g. jobs, deciding on colleges, driving, and being able to have sex) years earlier, at around fifteen or sixteen (depending on the state). Therefore, we petition the Obama Administration to lower the age of being a legal adult, so that people with this much responsibility may also be able to vote and move away from home if they see fit.
