In the United States of America, those who are age 18 and older are allowed by law to join the military, buy cigarettes, and vote for the leader of our country. When you turn 18, you are considered an adult, and being adults, we should be able to make our own choices for our lives. In the past history of the United States, the legal drinking age for alcohol was 18, but returned to 21 years of age.
