lower the age to purchase a handgun and handgun ammunition

I believe that every person has the right to own whatever fire arm the so choose as long as they can vote. service members while deployed are issued a handgun and some of the same service members who are issued this weapon cannot purchase the same weapon or ammunition to it if they so choose to do so. some civilian want to protect themselves with a concealed weapon but cannot because of the same reason. age should not change how responsible a person can be viewed as because may 18 and 19 year olds defend this nation and aren't trusted with the same weapons they are trained on in the civilian sector because of their age
