18 year olds are allowed to carry many high powered weapons in the military while fighting for our country. Meanwhile in the states an 18 year old may purchase a high powered rifle but not a side arm to carry for self protection. The legal age to purchase a handgun as of now is 21 years of age, but 18 is the legal age to be charged as an adult. There should be no differential with two different adult ages. Sign this petition and make our civil liberties right.
