currently congress and may other parts of the government receive full basic pay as there retirement while the military which puts there lives on the line daily receive 40% base pay plus 2% a year after 20 years up to 30 years for a total of 60%.
For a congressman or congresswoman all they have to do is serve one term and they receive 100% for life plus other benefits while already having millions of dollars from previous business opportunities.
