To much money is funded into our officials pockets. Without this same money to suck in the greedy politicians and take even more away from the tax payers, real progress will be made. Only those who care deeply enough about this country will run for the offices' needed for this country because they won't be signing up for the endless buy out money of super PACs and other shady income deals. The salary should be equal too or lesser than that of a lower class citizen and not a penny more. It's time to end the greed and corruption in our political system and replace it with We the People.
