Lower COLA adjustments for Congress by 2% annually until they reach age 62.

Created by E.M. on December 18, 2013

Congress recently voted to reduce COLA increases for military retirees and disabled veterans by 1% until they reach age. SInce Congress makes a much larger amount that military personnel, it's time they lead by example and take a reduction as well. 2% is fair, since they make almost double of what your average enlisted military member makes . This reduction in pays to Congress members will help to balance the budget and restore faith in our Governments ability to do their part.
