Lower the Controlled Substance Act schedule level of cannabis from I to have it treated like Alcohol

Created by L.T. on February 10, 2014

Obama has already states he believes that cannabis and alcohol belong in the same category so let's use the power that was given to us in the constitution to make it so. By decriminalize the purchase and possession of cannabis on a federal level through reclassification we would change current policies as follows:

A. Remove of cannabis from the Controlled Substance Act

level I to the same classification as alcohol

B. Have a tax added to all cannabis purchases

C.Must be 21 years old to purchase

D.Must go to a specified shop

E.Shops would be regulated state to state similar to the

Alcohol Beverage Control Stores common in the south

F.Cannot share, buy for, or sell to a minor

G.Punishment for distribution to minors would fall under

the same classification as for alcohol
