Lower the cost of college

Created by A.T. on February 27, 2013

The cost of college has steadily increased over the years.

The average family income is $50,000 a year. With the average cost of private college being $43,289 and the average cost of public schools being $22,621, families aren't able to pay for their necessities. Families struggle to pay their taxes and buy food with the cost of college being extremely high. The cost of college is hard to meet for families with divorced parents and for minorities.

The total student debt is increasing by one trillion dollars. Charges for tuition, room and board, and books are increasingly making it harder for families and students to pay off their debt.

Therefore, the cost of college must be lowered.
