Lower the cost of college textbooks.

Created by J.T. on April 23, 2013

The cost of college textbooks has risen faster than healthcare, house prices, and inflation.
A study published earlier this year shows that the price of textbooks is up 812% since 1978. A majority of American college students say they don’t purchase all the required books because they simply cannot afford the cost. Education is critically important to our future, and we are doing a great disservice to students by overcharging for classroom materials.
This is a huge burden to students, who dont always have all the funds required to purchase these expensive books even after getting all the financial help they can get.
Something has to be done to keep these prices under control.
