lower the cost of college textbooks or create a national rental program for students in need.

Created by D.B. on May 10, 2015

The college board estimates that a student will spent $1200 a year on textbooks. How is is fair that a student who is already drowning in debt also have to shoulder this as well? Most students don't have enough money left from their loans to purchase their books. Some simply cannot afford this additional cost as they are already struggling to pay tuition.

This cost needs to be brought down, a national rental system put in place, or all colleges should offer a low cost rental program built into the cost of tuition.
