lower the cost of college tuition.Not everyone has the cash,fasfa,grants aren't enough.and scholarships aren't guarantee

I believe lowering college tuition wouldn't effect are country more then it already is. It take years for people to pay back debts and most of them can't even afford to pay them back. Also sometimes fasfa, grants and scholarships aren't enough because it's still a lot us college students have to pay and in this day and age so many people struggle with financial problems. How come in the 1970s college tuition was about 1000-2000 dollars ? And a few years before college is free. College cost so much money, in the 21-century you raise the price to get more money from us? Is it because more people want to attend and you want all the money you can get from us? Yet the government spends unnecessary money on so many things but not "enough" for college.
