Memorial High School 6th hr. Civics class in rm. 1283 in Eau Claire, WI created this petition and a majority of the students support the above stated goal.
We would encourage the Obama Administration to pay for this increased spending by cutting spending elsewhere in the budget to ensure this idea would be deficit/debt neutral.
We support making post-secondary education more affordable because lower costs will result in economic growth and much needed increase in job opportunities which will lower poverty in the United States.
