The annual salary of a congressman can be anywhere between 110,000 dollars and to 170,000 dollars.
It is absurd that congress officials are receiving such high payments while schools across the Nation are on a stringent budget. Many schools lack the necessary funds to even offer classes that they once had, and are even considering the removal of electoral classes.
As our Nation's children, these individuals are entitled to an education and it's our job to ensure that they receive one.
The children are the foundation of the future.
We need to do all that is in our power to make sure that they are learning in every way.
The outrageously large salaries of congressmen should be declined so that we may ensure electives are not removed and that pupils receive the best education possible.
