Everyone knows what a burden debt can be, such as morgages, car payments, and student loan. The greatest debt we will ever have to face is that of our own government's doing. We are trillion of dollars in debt to other countries, who could later use this to their advantage against us. If nothing is done about it immediately, the future generations who will be taking care of this one in it's old age will be overwhelmed and tremendously oppressed by the ditch we threw them into by our inactions.
The debt ceiling needs a large cut, and it is the duty of this generation to be the one to rise to the challenge.
