Research has shown that America loses 951 billion dollars because of students dropping out of school. Once children drop out of school and they discover their mistake, there is limited state assistance to get them back on track.
This petition proposes the utilization of unemployed and retired teachers to help students who dropout get their high school diploma or GED. Once they have their degree, support will be offered by counselors and teachers to obtain job training and/or college degrees.
