The drinking age and laws in America teach kids that alcohol is too taboo. This pushes kids to drink more in binge ways and irresponsibly when they are 21. Countries with lower ages have less alcoholism. In the USA alcoholism affects around 10% of the people. Where as in Germany it only affects around 2%. If the American people were too teach better rules to their kids about drinking, combined with stricter driving laws for DWI's will make Americas future less dependent on alcohol.
