Ask Congress to repeal the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. Additionally, direct the Department of Transportation to fund road projects for states where the minimum legal drinking age is below 21 in defiance of said law. This law is forcing young Americans to pursue fraudulent identification to drink alcohol, an act in which all adults over the age of 18 should be able to participate. The market for fake IDs is pushing foreign companies to become highly skilled in forging government identification for all US states, which should be seen as a major threat to our national security. By repealing this law and allowing states to determine their own drinking ages, we can effectively diminish our security risk.
