The current drinking age is set at 21 where as someone can enroll in the military at 18. It seems unfair that someone can protect our country and risk their life at a young age but is unable to have a drink. In other countries the drinking age is set at 18 and their young adults seem more than able to control themselves when it comes to alcohol so why wouldn't young Americans be able to do the same.
