Even though the drinking age is 21, the number of 18-24 year olds that die each year from drinking has been increasing. These deaths are because of binge drinking. On the other hand, changes in car safety have saved lives and made driving safer than it was in 1984. In almost every other country including Russia, the drinking age is 18. If someone can vote for the President and die fighting in a war then they should be able to drink.
I believe there should be less Federal rules over states and that we should support the military by allowing them to drink. Please help change The National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984.
