It seems logical to say that if at the age of 18 you can go to war for your country you should also be able to responsibly enjoy an alcoholic beverage. These days, those who drink underage seem to have an obsession with this pastime. This is partly due to the thrill of "breaking the law" and "living on the edge". Once this activity is no longer illegal it takes this thrill away. Many youth between the age of 18 and 21 are in college, surrounded by their peers. Why not make this action legal since many underage already drink? We know this occurs and we often hear of underage youth being severely injured or killed as a result of alcohol abuse, but not seeking help with the threat of getting in trouble.
