How is it possible that men are expected to serve our country at the age of 18, yet they cannot drink? The government needs to lower the drinking age to 18 and instill educational programs on safe drinking habits. When a teenager turns 18 year old, they officially become an adult. An 18 year old can buy cigarettes and tobacco, get a tattoo without consent, get married without consent, run for local office, get drafted, tried as an adult in court, be called for jury duty, and become an organ donor to name a few. Drinking alcohol legally should be included.
